The International Collaborative Yacht Design Studio
The International Collaborative Yacht Design Studio is a Yacht Design Hub that aims at transforming the yacht design and manufacturing industry in Egypt by allowing different yacht design firms and yacht designers and naval architects to work together on joined projects. This project is an intervention to the historic Simon Arzt Building in Port Said. My design intervention was inspired by the whole sailing experience, I was inspired by the forms of the waves as well and several elements from the Yacht such as the window openings and the Structural Frame of the yacht.
The International Collaborative Yacht Design Studio is located in Port Said on the Banks of the Suez Canal which is a strategic location that connects The Red Sea and The Mediterranean Sea, any Yacht that passes through the Suez Canal Passes through this Building.
